How Can We Call Ourselves Human???

I saw this on Facebook and I started to cry. How can ANY of us look at this and not want to do something to help? This isn’t me begging you to donate money to my blog or asking you to buy stuff, this is me asking everyone, MYSELF INCLUDED, to take some time to click through and answer the vocabulary questions. For every right answer you give, you donate 10 grains of rice, 5 right answers? 50 grains. In 5 minutes? A whole bowl of rice.
How we as humans can allow this to go on is beyond me. It seems to me that the human population of today has almost no conscience at all. No pang of raw emotion that makes them reach out to help. That is unfathomable to me. People tell me that maybe I feel too much, that I’m too empathic. Maybe that’s true and maybe it’s because I feel like I have to make up for 2/3 of the human race. Besides, I’d rather feel too much than feel nothing at all.
Please prove me wrong.
Click the link above. While you are improving your vocabulary skills (and we can ALL stand to do that!), you are helping to feed the hungry. Join the group on Facebook too and post it to your profile.
Let us all stop being selfish humans, please.
Thank you.
And as a reminder, Michael Jackson also felt VERY STRONGLY about human hunger and suffering. Let’s not let his hard work and dedication be for naught.
Thank you, Michael. You really said it best.
If you can watch this video and not feel SOMETHING, then you really aren’t human at all.
